1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Base API ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Base API provides access to AI language models through a token-gated API. Users who hold $BASEAPI tokens receive daily API quota proportional to their holdings. The Service operates on the Base network blockchain.

3. Token Holdings & Quota

  • API quota is calculated based on your $BASEAPI token balance
  • 3,000 tokens = $1 USD equivalent daily quota
  • Quota resets daily at 00:00 UTC
  • Unused quota does not roll over to the next day
  • Diamond hands bonus applies based on holding duration

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Generate illegal, harmful, or abusive content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits or quota restrictions
  • Share or resell API access to third parties
  • Reverse engineer or exploit the Service

5. API Keys

  • API keys are tied to your wallet address
  • You are responsible for keeping your API key secure
  • You may regenerate your key at any time if compromised
  • We may revoke keys that violate these terms

6. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses due to service interruptions.

7. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE VALUE OF TOKENS YOU HOLD.

8. Token Risks

$BASEAPI is a cryptocurrency token subject to market volatility. Holding tokens involves financial risk. We do not guarantee token value or liquidity. This is not financial advice. Do your own research before purchasing.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will announce significant changes through our official channels.
